Good day, ladies and gentlemen. Today’s review will not be about the liquid – I will break my concept a little. In this article, I want to introduce you (who is not yet familiar) to one interesting box mod, which has become a favorite of a sufficient number of users – this is Boxer V2.0 188W from Hugo Vapor.
Now a few words about the manufacturer. Hugo Vapor is an innovative Chinese company engaged in the production of steam generators using advanced technologies. The design of the devices is developed in the USA, and the production is already based in China.
I got my hands on a device about which a lot has already been said, but I wanted to personally use it and leave a few words about it. new zealand vape shop tauranga By the way, this is already the 2nd version of this box, the 1st came out earlier and fell in love with many users around the world. So let’s figure out together why people liked this “animal from the Middle Kingdom” so much?
A potential user gets this box in a beautiful yellow box, which is sealed in film on all sides. On the front is the company logo, the name of the device and a short slogan “New platform, new feature, new vision. Hugo Vapor, Unlimited vaping”.

Flip it over – there are more letters on the back:
a brief description of the functionality;
a sticker with a scratch code and serial number to check the originality on the company’s website;
warnings about use;
links to the manufacturer and brief information about it;
color scheme option.
We open the box and see the following. We are immediately greeted by a small envelope with a 90-day warranty card, instructions (in English) and a booklet on the correct use of batteries (remember – only high-current 18650 batteries should be used). Then we see the box mod itself in a special niche, and at the very bottom – a branded USB – microUSB cable.

So, let’s take the device in our hand. I’ll immediately note that it lies very confidently and comfortably due to ergonomics and rounded corners. Quite weighty – you can feel that we have a good thing, and not a cheap “Chinese thing”. The feeling when holding it leaves only positive, since the box mod itself is covered with a soft-touch coating: the device does not slip, and is also tactilely very pleasant. In my case, we have the YBlack color scheme, that is, black with yellow dots. In general, there are 6 color options (I indicate the options that are marked on the box – in total, I found 10 color options on different trading platforms, although the official website indicates only 5 color schemes):
Black (just black)
BOrange (orange with black dots)
BYellow (yellow with black dots)
BBlue (turquoise with black dots)
YBlack (black with yellow dots)
YPurple (purple with yellow dots)
Impressions and conclusions
In conclusion, I would like to briefly run through the main points that were most memorable in using the box mod for several days:
tactile sensations – at an excellent level (the device does not slip in your hands, the soft-touch coating is quite durable and pleasant to the touch – however, fingerprints still remain on it);
the device is assembled quite well (no creaks, backlashes, gaps were found);
the stroke of the “FIRE” button – excellent (the button is large, pressed confidently and clearly);
the operation of the board left only positive impressions (the functionality is quite extensive and understandable in everyday use, no pronounced impulses were found during operation);
autonomy from 2×18650 at the level (fully charged LG HG2 3000mah 20A is enough for a day of intensive vaping using a resistance of 0.30-0.40 Ohm, but again this is for each person separately – many like to go deep into “subohm” (and the device allows you to do this) and vape at more serious powers). Agree – a nice, powerful and functional device for a relatively low price is pretty cool. Therefore, if anyone is still thinking about buying a good inexpensive board – you are welcome!
