Today we will talk about the all-in-one device RDTA BOX 200W TC, another creation from the creator of the famous Limitless RDTA in its countless variations.
The iJoy company seems to have hit the ceiling in self-copying, I have no other explanation for the recently released devices, the main “core” of which is the Limitless drip-tank that has become boring. The RDTA device type is in itself a kind of hybrid between RDA and RTA. If in one case the Chinese presented the IJOY RDTA Mechanical MOD Kit with Limitless Classic, where the latest Limitless RDTA Classic Edition is simply sold in one kit with a classic mechanical mod, then in the second, iJoy installed a video in a video and created a hybrid from a hybrid, i.e. combined its RDTA in one case with a dual-battery electronic box mod. A new degree of absurdity or a smart marketing move?
The packaging is a nice cardboard box with a colorful bright drain, which depicts the iJoy RDTA BOX 200W TC itself, the manufacturer’s and device logos, and the main “features”: IMC Interchangeable Deck System and 12.8 ml Capacity. vape dunedin The most interesting thing about the packaging is that the color is not indicated anywhere. And why write about it, if the color of the box and the device depicted on the lid are exactly the same as the device itself inside. On the side wall, the advantages of the product are listed in the form of pictograms with a description, standard warnings; on the bottom, the delivery set is indicated, the advantages of the device are described in more detail and, naturally, there is a sticker with a verification code. As usual, all the richness of the package is hidden under the foam rubber in which our box mod lies.
The RDTA BOX package is truly impressive:
iJoy RDTA BOX MOD
Micro USB cable
IMC-3 replacement deck (installed)
IMC-Coil 3 maintenance-free evaporator
510 drip tip adapter
Tank cleaning brush
Phillips screwdriver (PH)
User manual
Warranty card
Card with a link to a video instruction from DJLsb Vapes
Package with extras:
Spare O-rings
Spare screws
Pre-wound coils
Cotton
Silicone cap for atomizer
Silicone plug for tank
There is, perhaps, everything you need to service the iJoy RDTA BOX and even a little extra. What I would add here is at least one additional IMC deck, for the price that the manufacturer asks for the kit, it would be simply nice. But I would throw away the unserviced evaporator. The “cotton” is two wrinkled narrow strips of “Japanese cotton”, which is unlikely to be used by anyone.
At first glance, the device most closely resembles a fattened eVic VTC, not least because of the combination of colors: mint and black. By the way, the coating is very similar to the touch, after two weeks of use, it has not chipped or scratched anywhere. All parts of the case are metal, including the lid. But in terms of content, this is a completely different box: a dual-battery all-in-one with a popular RDTA evaporator format and an impressive volume of 12.8 ml. The dimensions of the box are not small, but it fits in the hand quite well due to the rounding of the battery compartment cover.
Colors of RDTA BOX 200W TC
In total, iJoy released five colors of this box mod: Tiffany Blue (I got the one for review), Red, Yellow, Teal, Silver.

Impressions and conclusions
The first question that comes to mind when looking at this device is: “And for… why?” Of course, you can come up with a thousand explanations that can easily justify the presence of such a product on the market. But it seems to me that the real reason is “Because!” That is, the iJoy company can simply make such a device and does make it. I don’t know how popular it will be, but something tells me that the RDTA BOX will remain in the annals of history and will quickly be forgotten, settling in some vapers as another box mod, who have not really decided for themselves why they needed it at all.
During use, there were no problems with the box. The device did not freeze, the winding did not “get lost”, the liquid did not leak out of anywhere. In general, everything works exactly as it should, there are no questions here. The only remark is that it is better to press the Fire button with the index finger, i.e. hold the box so as to tilt the part with the atomizer towards you, so there will be no problems with the supply of liquid to the wick. The tank volume cannot be compared with anything! An impressive 12.8 ml is enough to fill 2.5 times from a standard 30 ml jar. Is it a lot? For some, this volume is enough for a day, and even with a low-resistance winding. In general, the appearance with a huge number of unnecessary elements and broken lines will not appeal to everyone, here, in my opinion, the designer overdid it, it was possible to design it simpler. I cannot call this device “huge”, it is quite comparable to the “average” setup “RDTA + box for two 18650 batteries”, especially considering the solid volume of the built-in capacity. The entire structure with batteries, winding and filled liquid weighs about 360 g – a weighty brick.
Who is this device addressed to? For me, this is the biggest mystery. If for beginners, which may indicate a maintenance-free evaporator in the kit, then USB charging is sorely lacking here. And I would not classify the “RDTA” type atomizer as a “beginner” type. In any case, the buyer will need two more batteries and a charger to complete the kit, and this is also a tidy sum. If the RDTA BOX is released for an experienced vaper, then, in my opinion, there was a mistake here too. Today’s vaper is sophisticated enough in the wealth of offers to be content with the capabilities of one type of evaporator and box mod, especially in one case. Although, to tell the truth, everything is done surprisingly thoughtfully and competently here, I have no serious complaints. Maybe for RDTA fans? And here it seems to me that everyone who wanted to have already acquired all sorts of drip tanks from different manufacturers and use them on their favorite and convenient box mods. Perhaps, here the only thing that can play into the seller’s hands is that same inexplicable feeling of a “hamster” in a vaper: “Shut up and take my money! I need a box like this!”
Liked:
Good build quality
Volume
Flashing capability
Replaceable IMC bases
Simple and clear control
Tank backlight (on/off)
Disliked:
No USB charging
Strange format of the device itself
If you are going to give this “miracle” to someone as a gift, don’t forget about the charger.
