Review of Sense Herakles V2 – Less is more delicious

Sense is a popular company and has produced a large number of tanks for both beginners and professionals. But they did not have a tank for those who were between these two niches. They decided to fill the gap and released something in between – Herakles V2

Outwardly, it very much resembles its predecessor Herakles Plus. But in the new version, the additional top airflow has disappeared, due to which the tank has decreased in height, otherwise the appearance has not changed, so we can say that Herakles V2 is just a simplified version of Herakles Plus. The body has an engraving of the company name and an engraving of the name of the tank, the latter in Greek script. vape pods in new zealand There are two colors available: black and steel, by the way, I like black much better.

When disassembled, the tank consists of five main elements: base, evaporator, tank body, top cap and drip tip. The tank body is completely disassembled to replace the glass and washing the tank completely is not difficult.

The filling is at the top and is located under the top cap, it is exactly the same as for Herakles Plus. The filling holes are wide and located at a level lower than the shaft, so you can safely pour liquid from a bucket without worrying about overflow. The tank volume is 2 ml, which is very small, but given that the tank operates on replaceable evaporators and has convenient refilling, this will not be a serious drawback.

The tank evaporators are exactly the same as the Herakles Plus, you can use the same evaporators on both versions. There is also a function for adjusting the fluid supply. There are two evaporators at 0.4 ohm triple parallel, operating in the range of 35-100 watts and 316L stainless steel at 0.2 ohm and used to work on TC, it operates at 35-80 watts. There are four airflow holes, and they are adjustable, again like in the older brother. Their presence makes it possible to use the tank at a power of 100 watts. The upper airflow was removed, so the shaft was shortened and it follows that the taste transfer increased, which is undoubtedly a plus in the direction of Herakles V2.

So we have a mini version of Herakles Plus, without the additional upper airflow and with better taste, is it any good compared to its older brother? Yes, because they increased the taste retained all the technical characteristics and reduced the price. More precisely, I would even say that Herakles Plus is for bulk, and Herakles V2 is for taste, something like that.
